Employment Support (Mi Camino: Your Path to Employment Success)

Employment Support
(Mi Camino: Your Path to Employment Success)

Supported Employment helps job seekers find jobs in the community that match their strengths and experiences.

Mi Camino: Your Path to Employment Success helps people with mental illness find, maintain, or change employment. Our focus is on matching job seekers with competitive work to meet their goals. Our goal is to help job seekers find success in their chosen field.

Mi Camino integrates employment support services into each job seeker’s personal care plan. Job seekers work with their care team to map out their skills, strengths, interests, and needs. From there, we help them identify prospective jobs that meet their employment goals.

Mi Camino offers services for every stage of professional growth. We help job seekers find education, certification, and training opportunities to meet specific job requirements. When our candidates find work, we offer on-the-job support and career coaching.

Mi Camino serves adults (18+):

  • With substance use disorder(s) (SUDs) or
  • Moderate to severe mental illness(es) (MIs)

Mi Camino Services:
  • Discover strengths, skills, and interests
  • Search for jobs based on personal preference
  • Write strong resumes and cover letters
  • Learn computer literacy and internet search skills
  • Prepare and practice for job interviews
  • Connect with employers, career centers, and networking events
