Familias Unidas Outpatient Clinic is a licensed, CARF- accredited behavioral health clinic.

Familias provides clinical treatment for substance use disorder(s) (SUDs) and co-occurring SUD(s) and mental illness(es) (CODs).

Patients receive:

  • A comprehensive assessment and CasaCare treatment plan.
  • Consults with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, bilingual mental health clinicians, caseworkers, medical staff, and recovery support specialists.

Our service model:

  • Prioritizes access and engagement to promote patient voice and choice
  • Include bilingual clinicians, caseworkers, medical staff, and other specialist
  • Help patients manage their health and wellness so they can thrive

Familias Unidas May Be Able to Help You If:

You live in Greater Boston and need in-office services OR you live in Massachusetts and can access telehealth services AND you or someone in your family is struggling with substances and/or mental illness.

Program services include:
Integrated behavioral health services
  • Comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessment
  • Individual, group, and family psychiatric services
  • Psycho-educational groups
  • Treatment for SUDs, MIs, and CODs
  • Problem gambling treatment
  • Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP)

The SOAP Program provides a safe therapeutic environment, conducive to positive growth and change.

  • Psychosocial evaluation, monitoring and treatment
  • Behavioral assessment, treatment, and recovery planning
  • Group and individual counseling on substance abuse topics
  • Aftercare and discharge planning
  • Family therapy when determined it is necessary as part of the clients treatment plan
  • Toxicology screens as clinically deemed necessary
Community Support Program (CSP)
  • Integrated care plans and care coordination
  • Benefits counseling
  • Service coordination and linkage to community resources
Recovery Support Services
  • Peer, employment, and re-entry support services
  • Help finding, securing, and retaining housing
  • HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, and support
